Is it possible to extract an object from a video, I have an idea I want to use and that is to extract a tropical fish from a video of a fish tank and the live fish ends up in my bottle of water swimming around, I have made the bottle gimmick and it works very well, I now just want the illusion of it transferring from my device to a seemingly empty water bottle
Hey Graham! For video you don't really need a sophisticated app like Replica4D because video by nature is linear, whereas Replica4D is interactive and simulates physics and lighting. What this means is, that you can easily produce a video in which your fish vanishes while your live actions make it seem like you removed it from the video. Money saved!
Please note, that for some reason effects involving video get less reactions than stuff jumping from static images (in social media apps); I extensively tested this and have a few theories. But that's my experience and one of the reasons I started Replica4D 5 years ago.
Thank you so much for your reply Steve, I really want to buy one of your apps but I'm Torn, between JOLT because it can be interactive between lots of people in real time, something that can be performed as a stage routine, but allso I like the idea of objects popping. Replica4D or JOLT omg I don't know. You say about the fish and video, you obviously have the knowledge,I would know what pc software to use, to make it work from a tablet, is this something you could do if I paid you. Only because I created this... and wanted the fish popping or swimmy out of sight and ends up in the bottle.. https://youtu.be/Xy7IKqrPBWY?si=_mBEukziGCArV-8j
Absolutely. C2P or CardToPhone is a consumer app that popped up after we showed a prototype of Replica4D at the Magic Live Convention in Las Vegas in 2008. Card2Phone has a set amount of pre-made items that are static photos of mis-sized items that appear on a home screen. Card2Phone looks and feels like "app magic" and due to its widespread availability no longer surprises a sophisticated audience.
Replica4D allows you to create reflective custom items and custom environments (like apps, social media, web sites, Google) from which those items jump.
Replica4D doesn't just look and act better, but it also provides contextual sense for good story telling and professional brand work.
